Maya Little

Maya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from Vancouver Island University, bringing both academic and lived experience to her work in mental health.

With her personal connection to OCD, Maya has a deep interest in neuropsychology and mental wellness. Her education, combined with professional experience has come together in her practice grounded in trauma-informed care and a genuine understanding for neurodivergent needs. At Optimind, Maya is a certified TMS technician, with successful completion of the Optimind Magventure TMS Training program. Maya also provides therapy for children with ASD and ADHD at a local learning centre reflecting her commitment to meeting people where they are across the lifespan.

Known for her calm presence, warmth, and easy sense of humour, Maya brings a naturally compassionate and bright energy to every interaction. Outside of work, she can be found on the tennis court or exploring hiking trails with her dog, Ryder.
