Afia holds an Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology with a concentration in Neurobiology from the University of Victoria.
Through her academic journey, Afia has acquired in-depth knowledge in the applied research and clinical implementation of innovative neurotechnology, which sparked her interest in TMS. Her educational background combined with her personal connection to mental health allowed her to resonate immediately with Optimind’s core values. She successfully completed the Optimind Magventure TMS Training Program to obtain her certification as a TMS Technician with outstanding results.
